We like to think that we are individuals separated from all others and everything else, but we aren’t. We are part and parcel of everything there is in the entire universe. God created all there is, including us, with the same energy and love, made up of universal knowledge/consciousness and we are all connected. We, our thoughts, our intents, our actions or inaction, affects everyone and everything else.
On our own individual spiritual journey we need to look deep inside ourselves and to the source of our being, where all truth lies, and project all that is good and right – BUT there are times when we need to look outside of ourselves and see the universe as it is, knowing and accepting that each one of us makes a difference.
We are not humans trying to live a spiritual life, we are spiritual beings who are living a human life. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” – Jeremiah 1:5.
Quotes
“Worry looks around, sorry looks back, faith looks up.”
“Life is not about what we have; it’s about what we FOCUS on. We can zoom in on our Blessings, or barely notice them. The extent to which we acknowledge and celebrate our Blessings will define our relationship with God, but that’s not all. It will also determine the amount of joy that we experience in our lives.”
“May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us…”

Road Home
I looked for love and found defeat,
I searched for truth and found deceit.
I asked my Maker, “What is my goal?”
He answered lovingly, “the growth of soul.”
And in my mixed up mind I said, “But God I’ve tried and
yet instead of getting what you’ve meant for me,
I’m like a ship so lost at sea.”
Again He answered in His patient voice,
“The roads are many, but yours of choice.
Each one I made individually,
but each must come very willingly.
All paths they take all lead to home,
but some must stray and some must roam.
In there own time they’ll eventually learn,
that which they seek is around the next turn.”
I cried to Him with anguish inside,
“Sometimes I just want to run and hide.
This life just seems so completely unfair,
and things are just too hard to bear.”
He touched my heart and lifted my eyes,
and what I saw was no surprise.
For in Him I saw his loving care,
and knew whatever with Him I could share,
all the sorrows that my roads may bring,
because I chose the road home to the King.
