Please join Upper Downriver Right to Life on Sunday, May 19, 2019, as we “Stand Up For Life” in Lincoln Park’s Annual Memorial Day Parade.  The parade begins at 1:00 P.M.

We still have not received our unit number or line up position, but we’ll probably line up again on White Street a couple blocks off of Fort Street.  We will be getting  that information, so watch our Facebook page this week, or another good alternative would be to ask anyone with a clipboard where the Upper Downriver parade unit is located.

There will be patriotic music coming from our unit.  We plan to use our new portable sound system in all parades from here on out!  Also, Rosalie’s brand new red vehicle will be used in our unit.  AS A REMINDER, the parade runs from Southfield Road down Fort Street to the Band Shelter.  Park either behind the auto part store located at the corner of Fort Street and Southfield or back behind that area a few streets away in the residential section.  If needed, we will drive you back to your vehicle after the parade.  The parade will be finished by 2:00 P.M.  WE NEED YOU TO HELP PASS OUT CARDS AND CANDY.

PLAN TO HONOR GOD’S GIFT OF LIFE TO YOU AS WELL AS THE UNBORN.  PUT IT ON OUR CALENDAR NOW!

Can you join us (Upper Downriver Right to Life/Wyandotte Right to Life) on Tuesday, July 24 at 6 pm at the Right to Life Resource Center, 2010 Eureka (corner of 20th & Eureka in small mall), Wyandotte, MI 48192 ?

We need to recruit pro-life people to:

  1. Go door to door
  2. Make “Get out the Vote” phone calls, and
  3. Be at the polls on primary election day, August 7
You do not need to be a current member of Upper Downriver Right to Life (although we would love you to be) to volunteer to help.  All you need to be is a person who is pro-life.  If you have questions or want to volunteer via a phone call because you are not available for the meeting time, please call Debbie at 734-934-2599.

Time again for another Wyandotte 4th of July Parade and we NEED your participation!  We NEED YOU to stand alongside us in an effort to keep the life effort “front and center” in our community.

This year we are Unit #63.  (Remember, parade line up is all in chronological order.)  Rosalie will be driving her car in our parade unit again.  (If anyone would like to ride along with her instead of walking, please e-mail me at your earliest convenience, and I’ll reserve a spot for you.)

PARADE DETAILS:  Parade begins at 10:00 a.m so you should be there just after 9:30 a.m.  We’ll line up on Biddle probably closer to Northline, (Ford).  Just remember our Parade Unit number.  We probably won’t move until 10:30 a.m.  and you’ll be on your way home by 11:30 a.m.   At the end of the parade, we will shuttle you back to your vehicle at the beginning of the parade.  FOR THOSE INTERESTED, Anna Danyko will be going to the Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of the Scapular immediately following the parade for a thank-you Rosary, so please join her.  One last detail, remember the parade goes on rain or shine!

IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE WEAR A RED T-SHIRT this time around.  As always, I’ll be passing out items for you to wear–hats, buttons, etc.–before the parade begins.

Invite everyone your know to join us in this positive Pro-Life outreach.  Our efforts are making a difference!  You will notice the applause we receive when we walk down the street.

FOR NEWCOMERS, you are SOOOOOOO WELCOME We need YOU!  We need you to help us pass out parade candy and our holiday greeting cards containing the RTL (800) Help Line number and our local Crisis Pregnancy Center, (CPC), contact info–You may help to save a life!   Help us in our positive PRO-LIFE outreach to the local community.
