Face Masks – Washable and reusable

mask pic

If you are like me you are having a problem finding face masks and hand sanitizer, but I found a great source for face masks.

Why keep buying and throwing away face masks because of Covid-19, when you can have one or more made out of material so you can just wash it and use it over and over. This store has 70 designs to choose from, or you can even have a custom one made just for you, and they have two different types, the type shown in the photograph or the four (4) fold design. They even make masks for children.

General Session II:

brandon-buell-249x300

Brandon Buell
Jaxon Strong: Celebrating a Precious Life from a Father’s Perspective

Brandon Buell didn’t truly recognize the purpose behind his prolife convictions until the birth of his son, Jaxon, born in 2014 with an extreme and incurable brain malformation. Before his birth, hope for Jaxon’s life was nearly impossible. Abortion was suggested frequently by medical professionals who stated Jaxon may live only a few weeks—if he were to even survive delivery—and he would be significantly limited in his abilities. Through faith, Jaxon’s parents chose life for their son. Against all odds, Jaxon is now five years old.

Medical Abortions comprise 22.6% of abortions performed before the ninth week of pregnancy, not an insignificant number. Unlike surgical or suction abortions which immediately kill the baby; medical abortions take longer and therefore can sometimes be reversed. The purpose of this half day conference will increase the participants knowledge of a medical abortion and how the process can be reversed as well as how one can become involved in helping a mother reverse a medical abortion.

Speakers

George Delgado, M.D.
Dr. George Delgado, M.D.

Medical Director of APR and Culture of Life Family Health Care. He established the abortion pill reversal program and in April of this year published a second research study involving 261 successful medical abortion reversals. Dr. Delgado is a popular speaker and has made hundreds of presentations on all pro-life issues.

Luke 52 Project Mobile

Emmanuel Lughermo says, “This is a picture of Karlita with Majesty on the sides of the Luke 52 Project Mobile, 35 foot RV that was delivered last Wednesday. It will be very special to me knowing the city of Detroit and beyond will see her and her baby and I will be driving it.”

According to the National Review, ultrasounds help the pro-life movement persuade previously unreachable individuals. Pro-choice organizations, despite their public denials, understand this, and in fact have conceded the point in lawsuits challenging mandatory ultrasound laws.  Recognizing the power of these images, states are adopting laws requiring doctors to perform an ultrasound before an abortion.

As science and technology make biological reality become apparent to people, America’s abortion regime will become untenable. A mother looking at an ultrasound of her 10 or 12 week child will know that this is no mere clump of cells or tumor as explained to them by abortion mills. The entire horror of a late-term abortion will be obvious to parents who can  see their child in a high-quality video. Once such images are widely distributed, the entire abortion debate is going to change, and has already started.

Feedback on our Planned Parenthood Protest on April 28, 2018

I knew that we had been off to a slow start for publicity, so had expected that the 5 people who  car pooled from OL Scapular were going to be it, but 5 others came! (from Livonia, Dearborn and Trenton).  We had no counter protesters, perhaps due to the late posting of our location.

The bus drivers going up and down Cass slowed down, waved, tooted their horn and allowed their passengers to read our signs. Not a lot of traffic before 10 am. About 10:40 am, a young woman parked and ran some things into Planned Parenthood.  She looked angry.  She had a Planned Parenthood insignia on her that I saw. She didn’t say anything to us. She just did her errand and left.

Just before we were finished, a young woman jogging crossed the street to speak to us. She (Brianna Sacks) was in town from California, working for Buzz Feed to cover the Trump Rally Saturday evening. She spoke to me, took some pictures, was not at all judgemental, but seemed interested. I gave her the press release that I had personalized from the template and the hand out to defund Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood director: ‘Non-white races must be excluded from America’

“Non-white races must be excluded from America … The red and black races if left to themselves revert to a savage or semi-savage stage in a short time.” – Lothrop Stoddard Margaret Sanger, founder of the American Birth Control League (ABCL), which became Planned Parenthood in 1942, had on her ABCL board a number of controversial […]

sadpl

Mark your calendar to join Right to Life of Michigan for a teleseminar announcing a new initiative to address abortions in the city of Detroit! The teleseminar is Wednesday, August 30, at 10:30 a.m.

RLM President, Barbara Listing, and Administrative Associate for Multicultural Outreach, Tina Teifer, will introduce the new initiative and provide you with details. This new initiative is the first step to increase our focus on the persistently high abortion rates in Detroit – 40 percent of reported abortions on Michigan residents happen in just Wayne County.

A press release announcing the initiative will go out after the end of the teleseminar, meaning you will be the first to hear the announcement! Conference Director, Natalie Collins, will also join us to give a brief preview of our Conference on September 21 in Kalamazoo.

The teleseminar will last about 30 minutes. It’s open to all prolife people, so feel free to share this information with.

Pope Francis Has Approved the Beatification of Detroit Capuchin Friar Fr. Solanus Casey

images

At a news conference on May 4, 2017, Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announced the news that Pope Francis has approved the beatification of Detroit Capuchin Friar, Fr. Solanus Casey, and will be named “blessed”, and has met the requirements sixty years after his death.  Father Casey was the second U.S. born man to achieve such designation, and the first person from Michigan.

Father Solanus Casey’s body was exhumed yesterday, minus the news media.  The casket was in worse shape than his body.  The casket was replaced and his relics were sent to Rome.

It looks as if all 60,000 seats at Ford Field will be needed.  Information about the tickets for his beatification are at:  http://www.themichigancatholic.org/2017/06/fr-solanus-casey-beatified-nov-18-ford-field/.  Tickets can be ordered after August 15.  To receive ceremony details, fill out the form at:  http://solanuscenter.us5.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=03e49d3e6a8b72dec8c041dd9&id=6ac27dda7d
