Our Faith teaches us “Thou shalt not kill” and to “Love our Neighbor.” Offering help to mothers who are desperate to care for their unborn child and to protect not only the babies threatened by abortion, but vulnerable people and those at the end of life is our Christian duty.
We can’t all personally offer help, but we can support the election of those who through our laws will protect these vulnerable ones. When we save a child from abortion, we also save the mother, father and grandparents the life long guilt and “what if?”
After more than 60 million legal abortions in this country, many paid for or subsidized by our taxes, and the hidden pain of the walking wounded mothers (and fathers), it is time to end the carnage.
We can help by voting for the people who will defend life. Right to Life of Michigan is non-partisan and has done the research. Find out who the pro-life candidates are in your district. Share the information and vote Pro-Life.
To find the candidates in your district who are endorsed by Right to Life of Michigan, go to www.rtl.org.
I’m sure that all of you have heard how close the race is between the Right to Life endorsed pro-life candidate John James and his opponent.
We need all hands on deck to be sure that he wins and is nominated to run against and beat Debbie Stabenow for the U.S. Senate!!!
We need people to make phone calls right away to registered voters who have been identified as pro-life. I can e-mail you the script and either 734 or 313 area codes.
Four people are taking pro-life literature to hang on doors of pro-life identified voters in Wyandotte and Southgate. It takes about two hours and we need two more routes completed. Can you do none? It would be a great service project for a high school student on a bike.
At the polls on election day, Tuesday, August 7. The busiest times are 7-9 am, noon and 5-7 pm. All it takes is simply standing 100 feet from the entrance, smile at people as they go in and ask them to please vote for the pro-life candidate, John James.
There are some business sized cards at the office at 2010 Eureka, Wyandotte (corner of Eureka and 20th, in the small shopping mall) which you can take to hand out if you like. There is also some literature for John James and Patrick Colbeck that you can take if you like.
Just respond and I’ll get the phone list to you or give details on the door to door route. You can e-mail Debbie at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call: (734) 283-9753
Be sure to VOTE and remind your family and friends to vote.
Thank you! And God bless you for all that you do to protect innocent human lives!
