You, your family, and friends are ALL INVITED to “walk for life” in Wyandotte’s Christmas Parade along with Upper Downriver Right To Life. PLEASE JOIN US next Saturday, November 18, 2017. The parade officially begins @ 10:00 a.m. We are NUMBER 39 – remember all units are in chronological order so we are easy to find. We will line up on Biddle between Spruce and Cedar – probably closer to Spruce. Just look for Rosalie’s red car.
We need people to carry our sign, pass out candy and Christmas greeting cards. REMEMBER, the parade goes on rain, snow, or shine. Wear layers to keep warm. (Actually, it’s suppose to warm up by the end of the week.) ALSO, since we are closer to the beginning of the parade this time around, we will probably begin walking around 10:15 a.m. and should be done by 11:15 a.m.
If you think about it, that’s really not that much time to devote to the cause of LIFE next Saturday morning. I hope to see many people there. The parades are always a fun and a positive pro-life outreach to our local community. By the way, feel free to get creative with a Christmas theme in regard to your dress – wear bells. There’s only one catch: No one is allowed to dress up in the full Santa suit as that’s reserved for the city’s own Santa who will be in attendance in the last unit of the parade.
