Guadalupe Worker’s Need Volunteers – Please, please help us!

Dear Friends,

Guadalupe Workers is a tax deductible 501(c)3 non- profit organization that offers diverse support for mothers with unplanned pregnancies.

Our June speaker session is on Saturday June 3, 2017, at 1:30 PM at Guadalupe Parish, 4330 Central St., Detroit, Michigan. 

We are having another art session since many of the mothers were very inspired and happy with the last session. It helped them pray and release some stress and they liked the results.

I know that sometimes it doesn’t get busy, but many times it is, and if we don’t have helpers, we cannot provide a peaceful environment for these mothers.

It is just once a month. Plus you can meet the mothers who chose life for their babies.

There will be food and Refreshments.

Abortionist Videos Blocked

Yesterday I wrote an article about abortionists laughing at pulling the eyes out of aborted babies, plus so much more.  Today, the video has been blocked by the powers that be, and I am again posting the video from another source until they block this one too.  So far I have found two sources that are still working, but I’m sure that is just a matter of time before they too are blocked.

Please share this video while you can because the first one was blocked on this blog, three Facebook accounts I have, from the local online newspaper I write for, and all of the blogs and Facebook accounts my pro-life friends have, the Michigan Right to Life Blog, as well as YouTube.

It is not too early to be thinking about the Downriver Focus on Life Dinner 2017. We have an exciting program this year with renowned pro-life advocate Fr. Frank Pavone as our guest speaker. Additionally we are excited to be using a new venue this year – the Grecian Center in Southgate. All of this information is spelled out in our “save the date” notice shown below. PLEASE NOTE: When making reservations for yourself and others in your party, please follow these guidelines in order to guarantee seating:

*For reservations of tables of 10 – OR – reservations for two or more, you will need to provide (to Steve, the Reservation Coordinator) the names of all those you are reserving seats for, with updates as changes occur.

At the dinner, all guests will stop at the Welcome table before entering the banquet room.

Trenton Memorial Day March for Life

Southern Downriver Right to Life has invited us to join them in their Trenton Memorial Day March for Life.

“Nothing could be finer than to be in Trenton, Michigan in the morning!  Nothing could be sweeter than Right to Lifers marching in the morning!”

With apologies to Dean Martin, Al Jolson, Judy Garland, & the Carolinas, we need you next Saturday, May 27th at the Trenton Memorial Day Parade.

The parade is  relatively short, about 1 mile, and is a lot of fun!

Because  West Rd. is under construction, we will gather at King Rd. and Westfield.  The line-up starts at 9:30 AM, and the parade starts at 10:00. We will  march south on Westfield from King  to Fort Street. Parking is available at Trenton High School and the Kennedy Ice Arena.   Wear any Right to Life attire you have: shirts, pins, hats, etc. Otherwise, wear something with a patriotic (red, white, & blue) theme. If you don’t have any of this stuff, don’t worry, you will be just fine.

This is a great way to get a little exercise and stand-up for The Right to Life, the very first right Thomas Jefferson wrote about in our Declaration of Independence.

It will be beautiful parade in a beautiful city on a beautiful spring day.

But it will not compare with the beautiful smile on the Good Lord’s face when He sees YOU marching for His unborn children in the Trenton Memorial Day Parade.

So go ahead.  Put a smile on God’s face.  See you there.”

“New Center for Medical Progress video: laughing about ripping out eyes
The Center for Medical Progress released a new video today showing a montage of abortionists callously talking about abortion.

“Released” isn’t the right word because it was an unlisted YouTube link simply titled “preview.” Someone, somehow got wind of it and posted the link to it today. The clips include some old video but it appears to be mostly new footage at National Abortion Federation (NAF) events. The Center for Medical Progress has yet to share it themselves outside of their unlisted YouTube link….

NAF is currently in court to block the release of additional undercover footage taken at their events. A quick view of the video and you can see why. Who jokes about ripping eyeballs out of babies’ heads and having them fall on you?”
