“This is a huge deal for the Pro-Life Movement, because this is the first pro-life bill that has been signed into law in 14 years. This law will protect unborn children by allowing states to fund health centers that provide high quality health care for women, not abortion.

SBA List worked closely with bill sponsors Representative Diane Black (TN-6) and Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) – both pro-life champions – to advance this bill through the House and the Senate.

For the first time in decades, Planned Parenthood has seen their stranglehold on taxpayer funding weaken. Title X accounts for more than $60 Million of Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding. States will now have the right to chip away at that funding.

I’m so thankful for you and the hundreds of thousands of other pro-life Americans who contacted their legislators to impress upon them the need to send this life-saving legislation to President Trump’s desk. Your voice makes a huge difference for the babies.

Our next blow to the abortion giant will be to defund them of nearly $400 Million of their Medicaid funding through reconciliation. More on that fight later, but for now we are celebrating a big win for unborn babies that YOU made possible.”
