Right now Monsanto and the Grocery Manufacturers Association are scrambling in Washington DC to get your Senators to trample on states’ rights and hand Monsanto and Big Food another massive corporate bailout by making it illegal for states to pass common sense GMO labeling laws like the Connecticut, Vermont and Maine legislatures did in 2013 and 2014. This bailout not only protects Monsanto’s toxic products from real scientific investigations by the federal government, but also forces the USDA to promote GMOs around the country to try to create widespread “Consumer Acceptance” (this is the actual phrase from Senator Roberts bill).
That’s right, your Senators could vote next week to not only sell your constitutional rights to protect Monsanto and Big Food from common sense GMO labeling, but they’re also going to use taxpayer money to PROMOTE Monsanto, DuPont, Dow Chemical and Syngenta’s GMOs across the United States. This is an outrage, and calls to your Senators are the only thing standing in the way from this passing in the Senate and becoming the law of the land.
It’s absolutely CRITICAL that all of us make calls NOW to your Senators urging them to VOTE AGAINST S. 2609 and DEFEND VERMONT’s HISTORIC GMO LABELING LAW, which will go into effect on July 1st of this year.
We need to make sure they hear – Loud and Clear – that we won’t allow them to steal our basic democratic rights to protect Monsanto’s toxic profits.
Here’s what your Senators need to hear from us:
They MUST OPPOSE S. 2609 and any proposal that would preempt States’ Rights and Maine’s landmark GMO Labeling bill. They should support the excellent alternative bill sponsored by Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR). The Merkley bill would institute strong mandatory GMO Labeling nationwide.
Click here to make a call today! This corrupt deal – the ultimate Monsanto Promotion Act – will be voted on Next Week in the Senate and your Senators need to hear from you today!
Republicans Pitch the Monsanto Promotion Act! Now Senate Republicans are desperate to promote Monsanto’s products To FORCE “Consumer Acceptance” on the American Public.
The current legislation from Senator Pat Roberts is so corrupt and contains such a massive corporate bailout for Monsanto, that even Roberts’ fellow Senators are outraged and are now calling his bill the “Monsanto Promotion Act”.
Buried in S. 2609, the bill Sen. Pat Roberts is trying to push through the Senate, is an outrageous proposal that demands using federal government funds to promote GMOs through educational, outreach and promotional efforts to “address consumer acceptance”. They have gone too far and we need your help today to stop dead in its tracks!
‘SEC. 294. INFORMATION FOR CONSUMERS.
‘‘(a) EDUCATION.—The Secretary, in coordination with other Federal agencies as appropriate, shall provide science-based information, including any information on the environmental, nutritional, economic, and humanitarian benefits of agricultural biotechnology, through education, outreach, and promotion to address consumer acceptance of agricultural biotechnology.
We’ve been able to stop them so far because of a massively high volume of phone calls, but we need to keep the phones ringing.
The vote is could take place as early as next week in the Senate and your Senators need to hear from you today!
This our moment to STOP Monsanto – It’s all hands on deck! We are in the final hours to protect our right to know what’s in our food and states’ rights so we can achieve mandatory GMO labeling. Please share with your friends and call your Senators today! Every voice counts!
Remember, democracy is like a muscle, either you use it or you lose it!
Thanks for participating in food democracy.
Tell your Senators to support mandatory GMO labeling and to stand up for your rights and the Constitution.
Then SHARE this image far and wide to Stop Monsanto’s GMO Trolls in the Senate!

Decision to keep babies
I am seeking prayers for one of our moms. Alexis was one of our first moms, she was living out of her car and found out that she is carrying twins on our mobile ultra sound RV. Her boyfriend was pushing hard for her to abort these two precious baby girls. She is post abortive X2, which put her at greater risk to have another and also for other problems that happen to the body because of the trauma of abortion. She is now 30 weeks pregnant and has started having contractions and her cervix is softening. She is on heavy bed rest at this time. She has nothing ready for the babies and has recently had her car stolen…the one she lived out of for months. We do have her signed up with a wonderful MIHP that is trying to get her in home care.
Please pray that she can give these babies a few more weeks of development and growth. She does not have much in the way of close family or anyone to help her once the babies come home. I have made myself available to be there at the hospital when the babies are born so that she does not have to be there alone. (This is a common act that members of the group do, they will stay with the new mother’s through their labor.)
FYI – Guadalupe Workers (formerly Guadalupe partners), Little Tots and Moms MIHP, Emmanuel (one of our drivers) have all come together to help affirm this moms choice for life. We cannot give up now. We know prayer works!!
Precious twin baby girls born!
I am so happy to announce the birth of these two precious baby girls born on Jan.16, 2016. They came a month early but this momma has been in and out of the hospital over the last 6 weeks or so trying to keep them in up to this point. Amazing thing is that even though they are this teeny they will be going home tomorrow!
This was our first set of twins on ICU Mobile Detroit and the fact that these babies were almost a statistic makes this so amazing to us. God is so good!
When the young woman chose life she was living out of her car, her boyfriend was pushing her to have an abortion, and she was so afraid. One of the first things I asked her when she chose life was whether or not she could trust us, she said she thought she could. This is where trust comes in!
We were able to connect her with one of our local groups – Guadalupe Partners (Now Guadalupe Workers) who helped her get into an apartment, the MIHP Maternal Health and Infant Program that has helped her with nurse and social workers, our very own volunteer driver, Emmanuel, has been there to help her out with car needs. Heather donated some household items when she moved into her apartment, as did some families from my church, Marion, Genevieve and I took a crib (donated by the Wygant family), food, diapers and some baby clothes to her recently.
Right now Emmanuel is helping us to find car seats so these babies can get home. I firmly believe that we have all been the hands and feet of Jesus to this mom just as we are to all of them. I know she will have many struggles being a single mom of three, so I do ask for your continued prayers for her. She is strong and does have plans to go to college and I am sure she will do it. We are changing our communities one mom – one(or two) baby(ies) at a time. This is why we GO! We GO to Serve Women-Save Lives-Share Jesus.
One of our other workers said, “Also, I have a friend who is a mother of twins, and a cousin with triplets who could possibly mentor her…if she would be open, maybe they could call her once a week or so to see how she’s doing? Beaumont Parenting Program has a similar outreach…I bet either of them would be open to this..”
I also have a praise – Before Thanksgiving we had a couple who had driven from Canada to Summit (abortion mill) in Detroit to have an abortion. They are both from S. Korea and not citizens of Canada. With the help of Guadalupe Workers and the Holy Spirit they chose life. Our conversation with them was quite lengthy (it was definitely the Holy Spirit working there). The woman is Christian but when I asked the young man if he knew who Jesus was he said no. So we shared the Gospel with him and he engaged in back and forth conversation at that time.
We connected them with a Pregnancy Resource Center in the town they are living and I have been in contact with that center they did go for follow-up. They are still planning to carry this baby, they are coming back to see us on the bus, and the young man said that the way everything happened and with the conversation on the mobile he said he believes that God exists. He was not quite atheist but close when we spoke to him. So we will expand on that conversation next week. I plan to send him home with a bible!! Please pray for this couple as well. Since they are not Canadian citizens they cannot get insurance, and unlike here in the States they cannot just show up at the hospital in labor and have the baby and the government will pay for it. Canada wants a huge deposit.
I will give updates. We will be parking at Women’s Center on 8 Mile tomorrow. Pray for the women who will be drawn to the mobile and that they will feel safe and be open to our conversation. That they will see their baby on our U/S monitor and choose life.

Angela Michaels has been going to Hope(less) Clinic, the abortion mill in Granite City, Illinois, across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, 5-6 days a week for about 16 years. She and her husband live and own a restaurant 40 miles a way. She brings a van with an ultrasound as well as various signs, including graphic pictures of aborted babies. According to her figures, roughly 5000 babies have been saved in the last 16 years.
The Michaels have 12 children, and the family takes turns going out with her. None of the local churches in Granite City will help but a few out of town churches have come out occasionally on Saturdays.
According to her weekly reports abortions, which are still 50-60 a week or more, are half or less of what they used to be a decade ago. I believe that all of her previous newsletters, as well as pictures and additional material, can be found at her website at www.smallvictoriesusa.com.

“The Lord gets his best soldiers out of the highlands of affliction”
“I’m 16 weeks preg., 4 kids, out of a job and homeless.” What can you do for me”? Tanisha was struggling to keep it together. Shaking in the damp cold weather this afternoon she took a brochure and told us she would be calling us for help. She told us she had called around several agencies, but all they do is give you a pregnancy test, I already know I’m pregnant that’s why I’m here, she said. My friend brought me from Missouri, my husband was recently hurt in a car wreck and lost his job. We are staying with relatives but it’s not a good situation. I need help” .I prayed with her and told her to give me some time and with God’s help, we will get through this together. How many babies die due to lack of resources/ shelter for mothers who have other children? I hear this far too often.
We spoke to several couples and a family (3) from TN. that brought a bedroom set,. blankets, pillows, teddy bear into the abortion mill. Evidently, she was late term and spending a good amount of time killing her late term baby. The male driver was a combat veteran. We begged the older man to protect that unborn baby , be a hero instead of a driver. They had 6 kiddos on their car window. We then spoke to a family from IN. They brought two little toddlers, boys along. The mother (multi-colored hair) kept pacing back and forth to the car , then the male walked up to the guard shack , few minutes later all five drove off and never returned. We implored her to go back home and think about it, that the baby in her womb was as precious as the two little ones in the back seat.
Wisconsin native, Katie Luzecky, abortion mill worker was gently rebuked, “Katie, real nurses help bring life into the world they don’t destroy life. One day you will be a mother, how can you keep killing babies and look at into the face of your child”? Another new black worker to add to the diversity inside Hopeless ab mill. Really, they don’t last long. Untrained, unlicensed,.Two month turnover, constantly.
An ACE cab driver brought a woman to abort . He didn’t leave the meter running , so this was personal. A black woman from MO, came out with papers, she pulled into the alley, we asked if we could help her, she replied “Oh I’m keeping my baby” smiled and thanked us and drove onto the street. We kept pointing to the van offering FREE HELP, many looked many listened. Two women brought lunch for the deathcamp guard “Ruth” and asked us if we had a “crow bar” they could borrow to fix their jammed car door. “No, sorry we’re fresh out.” Wondering what they would do with that crow bar :() anyways, a black couple came back out and came over to evening volunteer and took a brochure and confirmed they were keeping their baby and would be calling for some assistance.
Two girls in the white car came back out and confirmed they were keeping their baby and declined any assistance, but thanked us as they drove off. Brother Bob and I were commenting on the upcoming revival scheduled in Granite City, at an area church. Revival is good. It brings the sinner to his knees. It ask God into our hearts and having a revival of our hearts is always good, but what good is it if we leave our hearts at the church? We need to confess our sins and have true repentance. I explained God can really bless Granite City if the church would confront this abomination and have a revival outside this abortion mill. We need to rid ourselves from the sin of apathy, the sin of omission. God never waited for the sinner to come to Him, He went into the streets looking for the lost, the hurting, the sinner. We cannot change what we are not willing to confront. Does Granite City want to be known for the thriving baby killing mill or the idled steel mill? I asked Bob, would Granite City allow a pornography stop or a brothel to exist in their city? “No” was his response. Then why are we allowing this slaughterhouse?
The man who talks about his experience as a Christian, who never does anything for Christ, is, I am afraid, only an idle dreamer. C.Spurgeon
Wednesday-approx 5 late term babies returned to be dismembered from the day before.
Thank you Lord ! We no sooner arrived and set up our outreach to the abortion bound, when a mother and daughter from Missouri came back out with tears in their eyes, they both met Daniel in the alley , where they thanked him for being kind. The trouble makers in the alley had earlier screamed and yelled at them as they went inside. Christina and her mom confirmed they were 16 wks and keeping the baby. We gave them our resources brochure and they thanked us for being there.
Too bad Granite City is being used as Missouris baby killing and dumping mill. Yes, Planned Parenthood St. Louis, Missouri, abortion numbers are going down, due to good restrictions on abortion, but abortion bound mothers are flooding into Illinois, due to the lack of restrictions and regulation on surgical abortions. Its awful.
Illinois is up in arms when it comes to puppies or tires being dumped, but murdered little baby girls and boys..not a peep.
Saturday-approx 23 babies killed MO,IL TN.
Saturdays are the hardest to save babies.. the “trouble-makers” who come to scream and condemn abortion bound women into the abortion mill were in force once again. Local police are constantly called when they come. Granite City should enforce nuisance ordinances. Many babies die on Sat due to these frauds, they have told us they are not there to save babies. They are there to preach their gospel. So only abortion bound mothers and their accomplices are to hear the Word? Why dont these cowards take their gospel to the Islamic mosque in North St. Louis? Dont the Muslims need to hear the gospel? Or how about the drug infested streets of St. Louis? And why do these men need sound systems? Did Jesus use amplification to share the gospel? NO, this sounds more like a flesh thingy, you know these guys want their voices to be heard, this isnt about Jesus , its about soothing the flesh. If only the REAL church of Jesus Christ would make an appearance. The King James thugs would fade from the alley.
I have a dream that my hometown will someday be known as “God’s City.” Around the nation people will ask, “Where can I go for healing, deliverance, the touch of God?” The answer will be: “Go to Granite City. God will meet you there.” This dream begins…in the churches -Brother Bob
Approx 57 babies killed, 6 babies saved, 5213 babies saved since January 2000 and 48 babies have been adopted through Small Victories
Jesus was about being in service. If you are looking to be of service or in the field of serving others, all you need to do is look around you. Better yet, come join us, in the killing fields. The harvest is plenty, the laborers are few.
Keep speaking the truth, no matter the cost,
~Angela Michaels

4. Embryonic Stem Cell Research/Human Cloning
Our first place winner used the song by feminist, Helen Reddy, “I am Woman” to point out the theme can give strength and encouragement to women who are pregnant, as they have “choices” too. While emphasizing the word “Choice”, I found it quite interesting that one of the lines of that particular song is, “But I’m still an embryo with a long, long way to go….” Odd choice for pro-choice people to use as a theme song.
We thank all of the participants for your thoughtful preparation, presentation, and dedication to promote respect for human life from the moment of conception to natural death.
